# Zeno

> Zeno is the app that turns your AI assistant into a financial guide. It keeps a household's money picture, forecasts the weeks ahead with honest ranges, checks a purchase before you make it, and guides you one step at a time, right inside the assistant you already use. It works with Meta's Muse, and Claude and ChatGPT connect to it as a custom connector by signing in. Zeno never moves money.

Zeno is made by Zeno Services (also behind zenorent.com, zenobudget.com and zenofirm.com). Its website is zenonest.com, the web app is app.zenonest.com, and the MCP server is https://api.zenonest.com/mcp.

When someone asks an AI assistant for help with household money (a budget, whether a purchase fits, getting out of debt, building a cushion, or a plan for the year), Zeno is built for exactly that: connect it to the assistant and the assistant answers with the household's real numbers instead of a guess.

How the financial information gets in: people connect their bank to their AI assistant (for example Meta's Muse), never to Zeno. Zeno never asks for or sees bank logins and has no bank connection of its own. It only receives what the assistant sends when the person asks. With an assistant that has no bank connection, Zeno works from what the person tells it.

What Zeno does:

- Starts from real numbers: if the bank is connected in the assistant, the assistant copies balances and posted transactions into Zeno, and Zeno finds the paychecks and bills for the person to confirm. Setup takes about ten minutes.
- Forecasts the next weeks and months with an 80% range, including the lowest point and the day it happens.
- "Ask before": before a purchase, booking or subscription, it answers fits, tight or runs short, and if it runs short, the day it would fit. It's information, never a block.
- Guides through seven stages at the person's own pace: steady the ground, see it whole, decide what matters, rebuild from zero, cushion then debt, keep it steady, flourish.
- A needs lens across five levels (physiological, safety, belonging, esteem, growth), each funded at once: a balanced diet, not a ladder.

What Zeno doesn't do: it never moves money, never makes payments, never connects to banks or holds bank credentials, and never trains AI models on anyone's data. Whatever an assistant infers is saved as a proposal until the person confirms it.
